Jose is our friend...

Now that I have your attention!

Okay, I was getting flak from some of the readership about not posting in a few days (I won't name any names Mrs. V) and it's because this last week has been uneventful. However, the next few days may not be so uneventful since we hit Costco tonight (yes Costco, in Nevada, sells booze and it's cheap)! :) Also, Alex will be coming into town this Thursday night and we will help the boy celebrate his 25th birthday in style.

They Don't Miss a Thing!

Lola, Tug and Willy LIVE for food. I mean ANY type of food! We had a poker party at our house last night with people from Alan's work (the pictures I took of that didn't turn out--lame photographer), and the total and complete attention all three of the dogs would give a person with food was amazing. They are like stalkers with their ability to hone in on a person and watch for a crumb to fall. I'm sure our guests felt unnerved with five beady little eyes staring at them (Tug only has one). I shudder to think what they ate. I know some of it included salsa verde Doritos (spicy) to big chunks of salami (thanks Ginger!), fortunately for us they have had no barfing episodes and don't seem to be worse for the wear. Little scrounges!

A BIG Reason We Don't Miss Living in Washington

It's April 19th and summer is just about here in Vegas, but how about Seattle? No way! This is a picture from Katy and Abdi's porch. Man, that bites!

Pet-A-Palooza

Alan, Tug, Lola, and I went to the 9th annual Pet-A-Palooza at Sam Boyd stadium on Saturday. Where was Willy you ask? Well, he was asking the same thing. I told him if he could behave better on a leash around other dogs then he could come out and play too. Not that Lola and Tug are good, but they are just easier to carry! My friend, Nannette, worked her booth at Canine Caviar so she was kind enough to give us cheapskates a parking pass and two tickets to get in free! When we went to check out her booth it turned out our vet had a booth right next to her, so we were able to harrass our vet a little (well, a lot as Nannette sees them too and loves giving Dr. Jason a hard time for not seeing her pig). If any of you in the Vegas area need a vet I'm putting a plug out there for Aloha Animal Hospital.
