Go Obama!!!!

I'm excited to witness the election of the first African American President of the United States. Let's hope we can get some real change in this country. I am a bit cynical because after all he is a politician but let's hope he can point this country in the right direction!

At least who we are as Americans has changed in the eyes of the world tonight, right? Is he perfect? No. But he's the best we've got I think.

I was so afraid of McCain winning, not only for me personally but for our country, especially in the eyes of the rest of the world.
Now we must keep Obama alive so some of his change policies to see fruition.

Have you seen some of the headlines and pictures from around the world? We aren't the only ones who were celebrating in the streets! It's so exciting!

I like that in his acceptance speech he mentioned gay rights, something he wasn't so open about before he got in. But, now that he is in, he can say he is pro gay rights!

I was excited to see it too. It's weird to think about this very important milestone of electing a first black president and the fact that our new baby boy (due in a couple of weeks) will be born into an America where the possibility of such a thing isn't out of reach.
