- and Alan have lived in Las Vegas since December of 2006. We moved from Seattle for Alan's job and we love the desert life! It's fun to be able to play tennis year-round or golf or go check out some cool red rocks. There is so much more to do here than go to "the strip". I have never been much of a writer (or photographer for that matter), but decided a blog would be a good way to share with my friends and family what has been going on in the desert. However, I am now hooked on reading random blogs and it's been fascinating. I have even made some cyber and real life friends from my blog! Life is good!

Okay...that was weird. Let me try this again. You have windows in your new office. I'm very, very jealous. My new office is like a little flourescent-lit, windowless cave.
What you don't see is the other side facing south. Floor to ceiling (12') windows plus I have a view of the Black Mountains. Pretty sweet, I love getting that much sun everyday.
It looks like it was nice and toasty warm in there...I'm freakin' freezing (and I'm in Florida today for God's sake!
