We went to Alan's company picnic today and I finally got to meet Lui! Lui is Crystal's puppy and is the cutest damn thing I have seen in a long time. Did you notice those ears?? Yeah, look again. Those are the biggest ears I have ever seen on a dog and the pictures don't do him justice. Those ears come from the Daschund in him but the reason they stand up is because of the Chihuahua in him. We all had a good time at the picnic. Great catered lunch and lot's of prizes given away. Of course, we had to dodge water ballons being thrown but that happens every year!
I was also thinking along the same lines - the crazy woman went and got herself another dog!
Very cute, dogsit if you must, but no more dogs! At least you can give them back to their mom's when you just look after them and don't have the 24/7 bit.
Holding Lui did make me want another dog, but it would really mess with the already unstable dog dynamics in the house plus I still really miss Willy. No rush!
and Alan have lived in Las Vegas since December of 2006. We moved from Seattle for Alan's job and we love the desert life! It's fun to be able to play tennis year-round or golf or go check out some cool red rocks. There is so much more to do here than go to "the strip".
I have never been much of a writer (or photographer for that matter), but decided a blog would be a good way to share with my friends and family what has been going on in the desert. However, I am now hooked on reading random blogs and it's been fascinating. I have even made some cyber and real life friends from my blog! Life is good!
